The guard rail beams are manufactured in one of the most, modern computer controlled continuous forming line. The plant is a high speed forming line and pre-programmed to form the W-type guard rail beam with excellent quality, superb finish & close control of dimensions. Being a fully automatic high speed plant, it is ideal for large requirements with short delivery lead times

Manufacturing
Primarily the guard rail manufactured conforms to AASHTO M 180. (generally type 1 and 2 in class A or B). Apart from the above specifications we can cater to any specific standards required by the customer Other specifications like Nuts and Bolts conform to ASTM A 307 Class 8.8.


Guard rail beams are W type, i.e. two wave types while posts are either C-channel formed from hot rolled sheets or IPE or UPN structural steels. We also provide pipe posts which are sturdy and cost effective.

Guard Rail beams are generally type 1 and 2 in Class A or B as per AASHTO M 180.

Raw Material & Finishing
Prime quality raw material is used to form the Guard Rail beam and posts. Generally the thickness for the beam is 2.67mm to 3.43 mm while for the posts and spacers both 5 mm and 6 mm are used as per requirement.

Galvanising of Guard Rail complies to AASHTO, ASTM & EN Standards.

Posts and Accessories are Galvanised to Specifications mentioned in International Standards.

All Material to be galvanised go through an elaborate process which includes: Pre-cleaning, degreasing, Rinsing, Pickling & Drying process before Galvanising. Quenching & Passivation is carried out based on individual specification / needs of the Customer. Hardware: All Hardware such as Nut & Bolt Sets are Galvanised as per AASHTO M 232
